Happiness....

This Christmas I felt HAPPINESS.. I finally feel at home. There's a difference between a HOUSE and a HOME. I finally feel that we are at HOME. It's such a blessing beyond belief and I feel more blessed than I deserve. To be completely surrounded by family and friends..to know people on every side of me. Not just neighbors, but friends. Friends that I work with and friends that I hang out with and to have my family right down the street. To be able to walk out my back fence, across the golf course and into my sister's backyard. To be able to leave at 7:18am for work, and get there at 7:20am. I mean, seriously? Oh, and I just happen to drive right past the babysitter's house on the way to work. THAT is a miracle in itself. I love that I always run into my sister at the same stop sign on the way to work b/c we turn onto the same street. The fact that my parents can come stay with my sister or me and we can all hang out until it's time to go to bed, and then we can just walk home in a matter of 2 minutes. I love that Jimmy can see his cousins EVERY day if he wants. He will grow up knowing them and looking up to them every step of the way. What a blessing. I love that he will be close to his aunt, like her kids are close to me. It's just THAT much more love for him to feel and THAT much more of a wonderful, God Loving family for him to see everyday of his life. What a way to show him God's love and what he can look forward to having when he grows up.
I know I am rambling..but I just feel an overwhelming need to express my GRATEFULNESS to God for what He has blessed us with. It's not things...it's just blessings...and I don't want to overlook them or take them for granted.  Here are some pics of Christmas time, our home, and our family.

We've been riding this thing back and forth down the golf course to my sister's house. He yells and claps the whole way!
