These beautiful rainbows showed up the other night, right after we put Jimmy to bed. It had been raining and raining, and then the sun came out. We went outside on our upper deck and admired the beauty. I've never seen such beautiful rainbows in my life. Troy got so excited, he grabbed the camera and went out on the golf course to take some pictures. Here are a few.

I'm back!
Wow...I've totally neglected this blog. I was thinking I would have plenty of time to do this when I started, after putting Jimmy down for a nap. However, I'm wondering if that will happen. He seems to keep talking, singing, yelling, and banging on his crib. So he may not sleep after all.
A lot has happened in the last 3 or 4 months. We had Jimmy's 1st Birthday, we both turned 30, Easter, I finished my Master's coursework and took the School Counseling Certification Test, went went to Sonoma, CA for Troy's company incentive trip, and left Jimmy behind for 6 days, and he has grown SO much! I will spare you all the details, and just post some slide shows of our lives lately. Things have been busy, but good. We are having so much fun with a 1 year old. =)

Happiness....
This Christmas I felt HAPPINESS.. I finally feel at home. There's a difference between a HOUSE and a HOME. I finally feel that we are at HOME. It's such a blessing beyond belief and I feel more blessed than I deserve. To be completely surrounded by family and friends..to know people on every side of me. Not just neighbors, but friends. Friends that I work with and friends that I hang out with and to have my family right down the street. To be able to walk out my back fence, across the golf course and into my sister's backyard. To be able to leave at 7:18am for work, and get there at 7:20am. I mean, seriously? Oh, and I just happen to drive right past the babysitter's house on the way to work. THAT is a miracle in itself. I love that I always run into my sister at the same stop sign on the way to work b/c we turn onto the same street. The fact that my parents can come stay with my sister or me and we can all hang out until it's time to go to bed, and then we can just walk home in a matter of 2 minutes. I love that Jimmy can see his cousins EVERY day if he wants. He will grow up knowing them and looking up to them every step of the way. What a blessing. I love that he will be close to his aunt, like her kids are close to me. It's just THAT much more love for him to feel and THAT much more of a wonderful, God Loving family for him to see everyday of his life. What a way to show him God's love and what he can look forward to having when he grows up.
I know I am rambling..but I just feel an overwhelming need to express my GRATEFULNESS to God for what He has blessed us with. It's not things...it's just blessings...and I don't want to overlook them or take them for granted. Here are some pics of Christmas time, our home, and our family.

Look what Santa brought for Christmas!
We've been riding this thing back and forth down the golf course to my sister's house. He yells and claps the whole way!

Blueberries
I decided to let Jimmy try frozen blueberries for a snack. Not sure I'll be doing that again. It makes a HUGE mess.....and it stains..see below.
