We got our bedding! Here are some pictures of it. I LOVE it and am so excited to get the nursery all fixed up. I feel like this bedding will go with a lot of the baby stuff out there right now. The blue matches most blues, so that's nice. =)

Well, this year, because Troy and I both had family in town during the weeks before Thanksgiving, we ended up being alone on the actual day of Thanksgiving. In the past, I would have thought this was SO depressing! But, we LOVED it. It was nice that we got to spend so much time with our families, and then have that day to just be together. I actually made a FULL Thanksgiving meal just for the 2 of us. We sat at the table and ate it together and thanked God for each other and our baby boy. Then we laid around and watched football and enjoyed the relaxation. I was so proud of my Thanksgiving meal that I took pictures! And yes, we had lots of leftovers, but that's the best part!

My parents and my sister in law, Jana came into town to see us! They brought my nephews, Staton and Chance and my neice Avery. It's always so nice to hang out with all of them. We didn't do too much, but Troy and I DID get a new camera! So, prepare for lots of new pictures from now on! Happy, Robin? =)Here are some pictures from their visit...plus some new profiles of the belly at 6 months (25 weeks), plus some experimental pictures with our new camera!
Ok, I'm getting better at updating now. Here are some latest pics from last weekend. Troy's sister, Tiffany, her husband Brian, and his brother Marc and his wife, Erika, came into town for the Coldplay concert (which was AMAZING!). We had a great time hanging out with them and got to do some things together. We went to 2 concerts together..Coldplay and The Spazmatics! Both were fun. I danced a LOT more at Spazmatics. So far, this is the baby's 3rd concert. 1. Sheryl Crow (of course) 2. Coldplay and 3. Spazmatics. I'd say he's going to have great taste in music. =)

Ok, I know this is WAY past due! It's been too long since I've written and so much has happened. Well, at least we feel that way. First of all...it's a BOY! I can't believe it. We have 5 grandsons in the family already and I totally thought we were gonna be the ones to have all girls. But, we are so happy and Troy is beside himself. He is ridiculously excited to have a son. I'm not sure what I'd do if he didn't get his boy. We wanted to be surprised and enjoy the surprise with the family. So, we had the sonographer put the pictures in an envelope. We went to my sister's house. She and her husband, plus her boys were there. We called my parents on one phone, Troy's on another phone, and my sister -in-law on another phone. Everyone was on speaker phone. I opened the envelope and announced the news and everyone screamed. It was really exciting. I have to admit, I was shocked...but happy!
So, then, what came next? Shopping, of course! We found baby bedding and started looking for all kinds of boy stuff. We are pretty set with the amount of little boys in our family. We've already been given some great things from my sister in law. Anyway, here are some pictures of our little boy. It's pretty obvious. =) Oh, AND, every time we've had a sonogram, he is flashing us the gig'em sign. Troy's excited about that, too. Maybe next time he'll have his guns up for the Cowboys.
On another note, after LOTS of searching for a baby crib, and Troy's new obsession with Craig's list (don't get me started) and trying to find the best deal, Troy found a crib we loved that was great quality......in Austin. Yes, he drove to Austin and back to get it in one day. He said it was all worth it because he saved over $300, and that was including gas. I have to admit, I thought he was crazy. However, it turned out to be a GREAT crib, and just what we've been looking for. Plus, it was a good deal. =) He came home and immediately started putting it together. After many not-so-nice words (that I could here from our bedroom), he had it all set up and brought me in with my eyes covered to see it. He even put a blue blanket on the mattress until we get the bedding, and put a snoopy on top of it to make it look cute. He did a good job and I am proud of him. It looks great! He is the cutest dad to be ever.
Ok, so I added some pictures because I was being harassed by friends who don't see me often. I really don't have any recent pics of me and my growing self. What I did add is not so great, either. I'll work on taking more pictures of me..promise. We need a new camera, though.
